About the Photograph
Yosemite Valley is one of the most iconic natural wonders of the world. Most know the valley from photos of Half Dome, El Capitan and Yosemite Falls or from various rock climbing movies with harrowing climbers. While I do find these aspects of the valley awe-inspiring it’s in the lesser known areas that my interest pique. There are literally hundreds, maybe thousands of viewpoints worth taking in all around this magical park. Cook’s meadow is one of those spots. It gives an incredible perspective into just how monumental the valley is. There are little people standing in the meadow that almost blend into nothing.
